​Flooding Stop is designed for quick laying in a flooding situation, to replace e.g. sand bags.
Flooding Stop-systems are built over the same principle, consisting of three tubes.
Flooding Stop type MD 280 to MD 1200-system may be activated at very short notice and has a damming capacity from 28 to 120 cm.
The system is based on two lower tubes, combined with a single upper tube, all of which are enclosed in a fourth outer tube.
The three tubes, connected to each other with flanging, ensure even distribution of the water that is filled into the tubes.
One of the lower tubes is fitted with a nozzle, which is equipped with a manifold and distribution pipe to both of the lower tubes.
This results in a 100% even distribution of the water in the tubes.
Filling of the upper tube happens automatically, once the lower tubes are filled through the mounted flanging; and there are vent valves mounted in the upper tube.
The system is mounted with zippers in the ends for elongating as desired.
Flooding Stop-system is delivered as a ’ready-to-use’-solution in 3 sizes, in types MD 280, MD 700 and
MD 1200 in specified lengths up to 100 meter.

Flooding Stops produkter udsættes for en løbende kvalitetskontrol. Inderrørene trykprøves for testning af tæthed i folien og ventilerne samt svejsekvalitet.
